AEGIR: from Andrézieux-Bouthéon to Paris at local authority fairs in France

First presented in a local setting in Andrézieux-Bouthéon, the project was later brought to a national audience at one of the country’s major meetings for mayors and local authorities in Paris. This wider exposure increased its visibility as an innovative solution for the energy renovation of buildings.

Mayors of the Loire Fair

On Friday 17 October, in Andrézieux-Bouthéon, the Mayors of the Loire Fair was in full swing. It was a day packed with discussions, meetings and that very tangible sense of collective energy that drives local territories forward. On the stand of SIEL-Territoire d’Énergie Loire, AEGIR quickly emerged as one of the highlights of the event.

At the fair, the local elected representatives were introduced to the scheme through a clear and engaging presentation, brought to life by Robert Regeffe, an elected official from Boën-sur-Lignon. His grounded testimony gave the project its full dimension, well beyond theory. The ambition is clear and openly stated: to significantly reduce both the cost and the duration of renovation works, without compromising on performance.

Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Territoriales

One month later, the scale changed entirely. The setting moved to Paris, at Porte de Versailles, for the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Territoriales, held alongside the 107th Congress of French Mayors and Inter-municipal Presidents. On 18 and 19 November, SIEL-TE teams took their place on the FNCCR stand. Two intense days of networking followed, filled with technical exchanges and strategic discussions with elected officials from across France and with many energy syndicates.

The project sparked curiosity, triggered debate and prompted in-depth technical and political conversations. It moved beyond its local origins to become part of a broader national and European exchange on transformation in renovation practices.

From Loire to Paris, AEGIR has shown its ability to bring people together, to persuade, and to project local authorities towards a leaner, faster and smarter model of energy renovation. A remarkable trajectory, driven by the expertise of SIEL-TE, the commitment of elected representatives and a shared determination to accelerate the energy transition in very practical terms.
