AEGIR was represented at the 14th International BUILDAIR Symposium, held from 16–17 May 2025 in Hannover, Germany.
The AEGIR project was highlighted during the European Committee of the Regions stakeholder consultation session “State of the Energy Union: Getting Prepared for a Smooth Implementation of the Energy Transition in Line with Fit for 55 Targets.”
This year’s European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO25) took place from 25 to 27 June in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
AEGIR was represented by two of its project partners: ICLEI, one of the main organisers of the forum, and Tecnalia, which participated in a high-level panel discussion on behalf of the project.
On 25 March 2025, Magdalena Zabek, a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft, presented research conducted together with Thaleia Konstantinou within the framework of the AEGIR project at the Circular Built Environment Hub.
During the weekly lunch seminar AE+T Bites, hosted by the Architectural Engineering and Technology department at TU Delft, Magdalena Żabek and Thaleia Konstantinou presented the AEGIR project.
On the 6th of March 2025, AEGIR took part in the Shaping Sustainable Futures conference in Brussels. The joint conference was organised in collaboration with several European projects, namely NEBULA, CrAFt, AEGIR, INGUMA, Woodstock and NEB Academy projects.
On the 7th of November 2024, a major conference co-hosted by Wood4Bauhaus took place in Brussels, titled Europe’s Wood Sector: Driving the Green and Digital Transition of the Built Environment.
AEGIR was highlighted as an example of good practice in the presentation “Accélérer les rénovations énergétiques grâce au hors site” (“Accelerating Energy Renovations Through Off-Site Solutions”) during the CARTE (Community of Energy Network Facilitators) National Meeting.
On 24th September, AEGIR co-hosted the first New European Bauhaus inquiry workshop on the perception of New European Bauhaus (NEB) values – Sustainable, Beautiful, Inclusive – and working principles: Transdisciplinary, Multi-Level Engagement, and Participatory.
