In the autumn of 2025, AEGIR was showcased at two key moments for local governance in France.

AEGIR was represented at the Retrofit Innovation Summit, held on 19–20 November 2025 at the Palais des Congrès in Liège, Belgium.

The International Advanced Building Skins Conference & Expo took place on 3–4 November 2025 in Bern, Switzerland. Several AEGIR partners collaborated to deliver a session titled “Scaling Up Sustainable Renovations – AEGIR Perspectives.”

Piñeiros’25, featuring the 5th Intersectorial encounter of the forest ecosystem of Galicia, took place on 28 October 2025 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. AEGIR took part in the event as a contributor to the panel discussion “The future of housing: How construction with wood can transform the real estate market”, moderated by Vanesa Baño from InnovaWood.

On 15 October 2025, in Brussels, AEGIR was represented at the European week of regions and cities during the workshop Participatory lab: Empowering communities through inclusive renovation and regional sustainability.

The Rethink Cities Summit, held on 8 and 9 September 2025 in Sønderborg, Denmark, brought together global leaders to advance sustainable urban development through public-private collaboration, the exchange of best practices and scalable net zero solutions.

AEGIR was represented at the 14th International BUILDAIR Symposium, held from 16–17 May 2025 in Hannover, Germany.
This year’s European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO25) took place from 25 to 27 June in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
AEGIR was represented by two of its project partners: ICLEI, one of the main organisers of the forum, and Tecnalia, which participated in a high-level panel discussion on behalf of the project.

On 25 March 2025, Magdalena Zabek, a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft, presented research conducted together with Thaleia Konstantinou within the framework of the AEGIR project at the Circular Built Environment Hub.
